For most of my life, I never picked up a book. Not in childhood, not through middle school or high school — reading just wasn't something I thought was for me.
That changed in 2025. I was going through some of the biggest life changes I'd ever faced, and my therapist suggested trying something new to help manage my anxiety and depression. As I explored my options, I came across Stripped Down by Bunnie XO. Something about that book cracked me open. It made me think deeply about my older brother and what he had experienced throughout his life — and it made me realize I had been missing out on something truly powerful.
After that first book, I couldn't stop. I was always searching for my next read, chasing that feeling again. And that search is what led me here — to opening The Page Turner & Co.
I started this shop because I believe there's a book out there for everyone, even the people who think reading isn't for them. Especially those people.
My fiancé has been my greatest supporter through every step of this journey, and together, we are so excited to share our love of books with you.
